Advent is a season of longing and grasping for hope. During this past year, we’ve seen terrible bombings, racial tensions, religious anxiety, broken relationships, refugee crises, the loss of loved ones and a tumultuous political season. In the aftermath, we are prone to wonder if there really can be any good news in this world.
And even more than good news, where is God in times like this? When it seems like the world is pulling apart at the seams, where is hope?
